You are unable to connect to the DucoBox and immediately receive the message “No devices found”. It is possible that Windows has not automatically installed the necessary driver for the Duco Service Cable. Follow the steps to download and install the driver yourself.

Solution:

  1. Go to the website “Silicon Labs > Software and Tools > USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers > Downloads” via this link: https://www.silabs.com/.
  2. Download the “CP210x Universal Windows Driver” (minimum version 11.4.0).
  3. Extract the zip file.
  4. Go to the extracted folder and right-click on the file “silabser.inf”.
  5. Select “Install” from the menu.

  6. Unplug the Service Cable from the laptop and close the Installer Service Tool.
  7. Restart the Installer Service Tool.
