Connecting – connecting a DucoBox

To connect a DucoBox, you need a Duco Service Cable. You can connect this cable directly to the service port of the DucoBox. The location of this service port depends on the type of DucoBox.

You can request the Duco Service Cable by sending an email to info@duco.eu.

After you have entered the project details, you will be taken to the tab “Connecting“. Continue with the following steps according to the type of DucoBox.

Connecting a DucoBox Reno

1. If a user controller is attached to the DucoBox, remove it from the lid.
2. Remove the front plate of the lid with a screwdriver.
3. Connect the Duco Service Cable to the DNT port.

Connecting a DucoBox Silent 2.0

1. Remove the lid from the DucoBox.
2. Connect the Duco Service Cable to the “DEBUG” connection.

Connecting to the laptop

1. Connect the USB output of the Duco Service Cable to the laptop.
2. In the application, click on “Connect device” to start the connection.

When you connect the DucoBox, an initial snapshot of the DucoBox settings is taken.
