How to Delete an Account
Note: If you are the resident administrator and other residents are still linked to the account, you will first be asked to transfer administrator rights or remove all other residents.
- Transferring administrator rights
The account, including all linked homes and devices, will be transferred to a new administrator. - Removing residents
All homes and devices will be disconnected from the account. Devices can then be added again to a new account.
- Go to ‘User settings > User profile’.
- Select ‘Delete account’ at the bottom.
You will receive a confirmation once the account has been deleted.
What happens to linked DUCO HOME accounts?
The residents’ accounts will be unlinked from the administrator’s account. Their own account remains active, but no homes or devices are linked anymore.
What happens to the linked DUCO devices?
When your account is deleted, all linked DUCO devices are automatically deregistered. This allows the devices to be added to a new account.
Deletion confirmation
After completing these steps, a message will appear stating your account has been successfully deleted.

You will receive a confirmation once the account has been deleted.
