Account types

DUCO HOME is designed for end users and does not communicate with the applications for the installer. Therefore, an installer cannot create an account for you and does not have access to your account afterwards.

There are 2 types of users:

Resident Administrator

Each account has 1 resident administrator. The first user to create an account automatically becomes the administrator of that account. An administrator can do everything a resident can do, and can also:

  • invite residents to join the account.
  • remove residents from the account.
  • transfer administrator rights. When the new administrator accepts, the current administrator becomes a resident.
  • delete the account. All homes and devices will be disconnected from the account. If you do not transfer administrator rights, all other users will also lose access to the home and devices.

Resident

Each account can have one or more residents. A resident can:

  • view the status of the ventilation system.
  • adjust the ventilation.
